What payment methods do you accept?
EU-elektrofahrradladen accepts the following payment methods;

Bitcoin (Comes with a 25% discount, free shipping and next day delivery to any address within Europe)
Apple Pay & Zelle for U.S clients

What is your payment plan?
We do accept payment via instalments. Bikes above 1500euros can be paid in 2 or 3 instalments depending on the price of the bike.

Can i track my order?
Yes a notification E-mail will be sent to your email address once your package is dispatched. The tracking link will also be attached.

What countries do you ship to??
We currently ship across Europe and North America.

How long does the shipping take?
Generally, if you are within Europe, it will take 3-5 business days for your orders to reach you. (except pre-sale products). Also, if you paid with bitcoin, your order will be dispatched the following day. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a tracking number to monitor the progress of your delivery.

Are the bikes shipped assembled?
The bicycles are shipped 90% assembled, depending on each model they require a last step (such as screwing on the pedals and putting the front wheel on in most models).

Where can I find reviews published on your electric bikes?

Where are your electric bikes made?
At our shop, we have a strict policy, we mainly sell European built bikes. All of our bikes are hand assembled within Europe.

What’s the difference between Bosch & Yamaha systems?
Both systems work in similar ways, they both are 250w crank drive’s and both use Lithium-Ion battery packs.

Which electric bike is best for me?
We offer a variety of electric bikes for different uses, our wide range ensures there is always a perfect model for each individual riders needs. You may already have some idea of what bike will suit you best.

Why should I ride electric bikes?
Electric bikes are many things to many people, some use them as a vital tool for commuting, saving fuel, cutting transport costs and time. Whilst some people enjoy recreational rides, where you can go out traveling all day without the aggravation of steep hills.
On the other extreme we have hardcore mountain bikers using an electric bike to beat up lifts. Of course whatever you ride up you get to hurtle back down. Generally you can get a lot more use in a day and cover more ground on an electric bike. Remember with an e-Bike you get to do everything you are doing already but – Longer, harder & faster. What are the running costs of owning an electric bike?
The running costs of owning an electric bike are very low compared to other modes of transport. Generally good quality electric bikes use better components that last longer compared to cheap bikes. Its the same old saying again – You pay for what you get.

How long does it take to recharge the battery?
All our electric bikes use lithium ion battery packs. These packs recharge very quickly compared to others on the market. In general a 400Wh pack will take about 3.5 hours to recharge 100% from flat. Interestingly the battery will actually charge approx. 80% in about 1.5 hours, but the last 20% is set on a slower charge rate.

Do I need a license to ride an electric bike on the road?
No not at all, again treat it the same as a regular bike. You will only ever need a license if you exceed the specified specification of EU law.

Where can I buy spare parts for my electric bike?
Remember all of the components are regular cycle components, so you can pick up spares e.g inner tubes, tyres brake pads etc from any good cycle shop. The electrical components are a little more niche. This is why we offer the complete range of parts and spares available directly from our shop.

Do you sell the bike without the electrical components?
No, at the moment we only sell complete bikes.

Do you support returns?
Yes, EU-elektrofahrradladen supports returns on orders signed within 14 days. The specific return policy is determined according to the actual order status.

How can I obtain my purchase invoice?
The invoice is sent automatically by email within approximately 5 days after receipt of the order.

Can I place an order on the website without registering?
Yes, you can place an order on our website without registering.

What type of maintenance does my bike require??
Regularly clean and grease your bicycle transmission, check the tire pressure, keep the bicycle clean and dry, keep the screws tightly tightened, adjust the steering if necessary, check brakes, bearings, hubs and keep the suspension clean if you have it.

What should I do when I receive my order?
Check that the packaging is in good condition, that the product has no damage and/or defects and that it is complete, without any missing part and/or component. We recommend indicating on the delivery note Compliant unless examined. Store the box for 10 days.

What should I do if I receive the order with damage??
Indicate on the delivery receipt that the packaging has visible damage, if any, and let us know about the damage by communicating it by email to info@eu-elektrofahrradladen.com sending photos.

How long do I have to report damage to the product??
You have 24 hours to report product damage to info@eu-elektrofahrradladen.com attaching photos of the product where the damage can be seen, photos of the packaging and photos of the shipping and product labels.

Are customs fees included in the price of the E-bikes?
No, you don’t have to pay any additional fees. Electric bike shipping and tax are included in the price.

What is the speed limit on e-bikes in Europe?
In Europe, ebikes cannot provide electric assistance beyond 25 km/h, unless you want to pay registration, plates and insurance to be assisted up to 45 km/h, purchasing an S-pedelec. In the US, that limit is higher, 32 km/h or 20 mph.

How far can you travel on an electric bike?
Juiced electric bikes have a riding range between 40-100 miles depending on a variety of factors including battery size, average speed, terrain, rider weight, and more. With a smaller 48V or 36V battery, typical range will only be 15-35 miles per charge. That’s a considerable difference.

Can you limit the speed of an e-bike?
A speed limiter in an electric bike refers to limiting motor power to prevent the bike from exceeding a certain speed, usually around 15-28 mph, depending on local laws.

How fast do electric bikes go without pedaling?

And generally, with those though, you’re limited to no more than 20 miles an hour with the full throttle. So with the pedal assist, you can go up to 28 with the full throttle, you can not go more than 20 miles an hour on an e-bike without peddling at all.

How do I know what size e-Bike to purchase?
Electric bikes come in many shapes and sizes. As do us humans, it is important we select the correct size bike. We offer most of our bikes in varied sizes to suit different builds.
